Church Day at Black Lake
On April 26th, BLRC will host the first Kirchentag. Churches and individuals are invited to register for the day of InterPlay and fellowship. There will be two sessions on InterPlay, an accessible art form that anyone can do, plenty of time for fellowship, lunch and a workshop on balanced living. InterPlay is a body-based spiritual practice that relieves stress and creates ease and way to build community. It also invited participants to open up and experience a Biblical story in a fresh and dynamic way. This ministry of embodied spirituality is perfect for all, ages 2-102, there are no limits. Ministerium Meetings
Clergy in the WNCA meet together regularly in area program districts. The regular meeting schedule for each of the districts is listed below.
Catawba District meets on the second Tuesday of each month. Refreshments and fellowship begin at 9:30 and the meeting begins at 10:00 The location changes each month. Spouses are invited to attend the meeting. Those wishing to gather for lunch usually go to a local restaurant. For more information, contact Rev. Curtis Tutterrow (828-256-2274).
Davidson/Forsyth District meets on the third Tuesday of each month at Piedmont Crossing. Refreshments and fellowship begin at 9:30 with the meeting beginning at 10:00. Lunch is served by Piedmont Crossing ($6). For more information, contact Rev. Care Goodstal (336-474-3624).
Guilford/Randolph District meets on the second Wednesday of each month at 10:00. The location changes each month. Arrangements are made for those wishing to stay for lunch. For more information contact Rev. Gary Owens (336-656-3400).
Rowan District meets on the third Monday of each month at 11:30 at the Mayflower Restaurant in Concord. For more information contact the Association Office (704-633-3191).
