About WNCA
The Western North Carolina Association (WNCA) is one of three Associations within the United Church of Christ’s Southern Conference.
The WNCA includes 87 churches in four program districts:
- The Guilford-Randolph District includes Guilford, Montgomery, Randolph, Richmond, and Rockingham Counties.
- The Davidson-Forsyth District includes Davidson, Forsyth, and Yadkin Counties in North Carolina and Carroll County in Virginia.
- The Rowan District includes Cabarrus, Gaston, Mecklenburg, Monroe, Rowan, and Stanley Counties.
- The Catawba District includes Buncombe, Caldwell, Catawba, Henderson, Iredell, Lincoln, Polk and Watauga Counties.
The spiritual and community life of individuals and congregations in the Western North Carolina Association is strengthened through the staff and a variety of committees and commissions. In addition, assistance is provided as churches seek professional leadership through the Search and Call Process.
