Tex Sample in Burlington, March 7
Tex Sample will be speaking at First Reformed UCC, Burlington, on Saturday, March 7. He will speak on the theme of “The Craft of Discipleship.” His presentation will address faithfulness as a range of practices and skills we learn as Christians. “The effort here is to work against the tendency in our culture to think about faith too much as a subjective experience. These lectures will focus on practices, their formative role in our lives, and their importance for being the church.”
The lectures will be offered between 9 a.m and 3 p.m Two sessions will be offered prior to lunch and one afterwards. The registration fee is $25 per person (which includes lunch).
