Biloxi Mission Trip
A group from WNCA recently traveled to the Biloxi, Mississippi, to help with rebuilding homes damaged by hurricane Katrina and following storms.
28 folks from 11 churches in WNCA traveled to Biloxi. Rev. Kelly Barefoot, chair of the WNCA Church Development and Evangelism Committee, organized the trip through Back Bay Mission. Individuals, congregations, and the Association helped underwrite the cost of the trip. The group worked to rebuild an damaged home and to build a new home from 12 feet above ground level up.
Word from all of those participating is that it was a tremendous experience of the Church at its best. Everyone would like to do another trip in the future.
